100^th Anniversary Celebration

Temple Israel has planned a year of gala events to celebrate our first century bringing Reform Judaism to the south shore of Long Island.  Please plan your calendar around the following events:

Selichot Service – Saturday evening, Sept. 8^th at 10:00 pm in the Sanctuary.  A prominent speaker will join us as we kick off our year long celebration.

Simchat Torah Dinner and Service Honoring Rabbi Zion – Friday, Oct. 5^th  Join us as we celebrate this holiday and all of the generations of children Rabbi Zion has ushered into our religious school. 

Lunch and Trip to the New York Holocaust Museum – Sunday, Oct. 21^st

Crystallnacht Service – Friday, November 9^th

Rededication of the Temple Sanctuary and opening of the May

Museum exhibit, “The History of Temple Israel Through Words and Pictures” – Friday, December 7^th

Sweetheart Service Honoring Couples Married at Temple Israel – Friday, Feb. 8^th

An Evening at a Russian Night Club – Saturday evening, March 22^nd.
